Global Start-Stop Phrases for Telegram

Global start-stop phrases are a universal filter applied to all your Telegram sources at once. With them, you can centrally exclude unwanted messages or, conversely, receive only those entries that truly interest you, regardless of the specific channel or group.

On the main Telegram settings page, there is a special button Global start-stop phrases. Click it to open the window for adding and managing these phrases.

How it works:

• All start and stop phrases added here will be applied to all your Telegram sources simultaneously.
• The mechanics are exactly the same as for start-stop phrases for a specific source: you can use regular phrases or regular expressions, and also set filtering priorities.

Filtering priority:

• First, the bot checks global start-stop phrases.
• If the entry is not filtered by global phrases, local (per-source) filters are applied.
• This allows you to first filter out general unwanted content, and then individually fine-tune filtering for each channel or group.
